The Wine

We offer over 40 wines by the glass. 
The wine program is an integral part of the dining experience at Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse. From the extensive selection of wines offered by the glass to our cellar full of wines offered by the bottle, we are certain to have the perfect wine choice. We offer wines from 4 continents, 11 different countries, and they range in style from big, bold, fruit-forward wines to the more subtle, classic, elegant wines of the Old World. Regardless of your taste, our well-trained staff is able to offer the perfect selection to compliment your dinner. We also specialize in featuring wineries with whom we are able to offer exclusive, low production, and winery-only products. Hyde Park works in conjunction with many boutique-style wineries in order to offer unique products and once-in-a-lifetime bottles.
Although our wine program is consistent, each location offers several unique products.

In the Fall of 2010, Hyde Park's Beverage Director, John Poggemeyer, visited the Napa Valley to blend a custom cabernet sauvignon with Raymond Winery. The resulting meeting produced the 2009 Raymond Vineyards "Hyde Park Exclusive Series" Cabernet Sauvignon. After meeting in their barrel room with acclaimed winemaker Stephanie Putnam, the resulting 500 cases were shipped out to all of the Hyde Park Steakhouse locations to be served by the glass and by the bottle. Better yet, a short video was made about the wine, detailing the tasting profile, the source of the grapes, and the blending session itself. Below are links to the video, as well as a scannable QR code to watch the 90 second clip. The limited, exclusive run is now available in all Hyde Park Prime Steakhouses nationwide.
